Absolutely classic recipe: white beans with sauerkraut!
- 4-5 dried red peppers
- 300 g white beans
- pinch of salt
- 200 g sauerkraut
- pinch of pepper
- pinch of savory
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Soak peppers several hours in advance of lukewarm water. Meanwhile cook the beans until tender and drain water.
In large bowl, prepare the filling. Cut the cabbage, add beans and spices. Fill the peppers carefully and let the rest of the mixture.
At the bottom of a large roasting pan and rub olive bottom cover with water. Arrange peppers in a circle between them pour remaining mixture.
Bake in hot oven until golden and eat while warm.
